Current Openings
Chemical Operator
The Chemical Operator can expect to work as an integral part of the production team and may be responsible for retrieving, weighing, and mixing chemical ingredients, monitoring equipment during the chemical process, repairing machinery if problems arise, recording information about equipment and compounds, and assisting in the planning and improvement of processes or products.
Senior Chemist
This individual will be a source of technical expertise to the company being able to develop new products on a laboratory scale as well as the ability to develop production processes to scale up the products and introduce them in production, be an ongoing support to production to troubleshoot issues, understand the end-use applications and offer recommendations for the use an application of StarChem products.
Wastewater Operator/Safety Lead
This position has responsibility for the successful operation of the wastewater treatment plant and conducting daily safety inspections, monthly safety meetings, safety training for new employees, and record keeping for all wastewater and safety related reports for the site in Wellford SC.
QC Lab Technician
The successful candidate will be responsible for testing raw materials when needed and finished products to ensure product quality matches specifications. He or she will also participate in the R&D aspects of the job, including sample preparation, development projects, and plant line trials.
