Highly Concentrated Silicone Water Repellent
Product Description
StarPel™ 366-01 is a durable silicone water repellent having a high silicone oil content. It provides durable water repellency to all fibers and blends. This durability is maintained throughout multiple washings and dry cleanings.
StarPel™ 366-01, which is compatible with most bath additives, affords a soft, silky hand. No adverse effect has been noted on shade or dyestuff fastness. The product also provides improved tear strength, sewability, and crease resistance.

Application
For optimum results, StarPel™ 366-01 should be cured with StarTex™ CATALYST 605 at a ratio of three parts silicone emulsion to two parts catalyst. StarPel™ 366-01 is also recommended for use as a softener. It may be used alone or in conjunction with other softeners such as PERMAFIN 20 or StarLube™ 243 depending on the final properties desired. A level of 1–2% StarPel™ 366-01 is very effective with no catalyst being required for StarPel™ 366-01. In this case, no special catalyst for curing the silicone would be required. Normal pad/dry/cure techniques would suffice.
StarPel™ 366-01 may be used effectively on polyester/cotton rainwear to obtain durable results – with exceptional economy – using the following formula:

Storage
