Product Description
StarSoft™ HCA is a cationic softener
that gives superior performance on cotton
and poly/cotton blends. StarSoftTM HCA imparts a soft, lofty, luxurious hand that enhances fabric strength, appearance, and handle. This softener product does not adversely affect the shade, lightfastness, or crock fastness of dyed or printed fabrics. It is compatible with most cationic and nonionic products normally used in textile wet processing.

Application
Premix one (1) part StarSoft™ HCA to two (2) parts water before adding to bath. StarSoft™ HCA may be added directly to a cold or warm bath.
Exhaust Application
The substantivity of StarSoftTM HCA allows the product to be exhausted during the last rinse in dyeing. Use 0.5– 2.0% on the weight of goods (owg) of StarSoftTM HCA depending on the softness desired. After the softener is added to the bath, run 10–15 minutes at 70–90°F(20– 30°C). Optimum exhaustion of the softeners occurs at a pH of 4.5–5.0.
Pad Application
StarSoft™ HCA may be used with most auxiliaries found in a normal finish bath. The use of 0.75–2.0% owb will yield a soft, silky hand.
Storage
KEEP FROM FREEZING. If exposed to temperatures below 32°F (0°C) for long periods, StarSoft™ HCA may thicken.
