Modified Reactive Silicone Microemulsion
Product Description
StarSoft™ WAM is a unique, economical, modified reactive silicone formulated to provide a soft, slick hand of a traditional amino without the typical yellowing properties. It is durable to laundering. StarSoft™ WAM imparts an extremely soft and supple hand on all fibers and fabric types without the usual damaging effects on crock fastness. StarSoft™ WAM will withstand high shear from pumps and cyclones often found in garment processing equipment.

Application
Generally, StarSoft™ WAM is applied from a pad bath at 1− 4% owb concentrations depending on the hand desired. StarSoft™ WAM is compatible with resin finishes.
Storage
DO NOT ALLOW DRUM/TOTE LID TO REMAIN UNSEALED FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME.
StarSoft™ WAM should be protected from freezing. The product is stable for a minimum of six months if stored at 50−80°F (10−27°C). This product should not be contaminated with strong acids, bases, some metallic compounds, or oxidizing agents. Polymer reversion or gelation could occur at pH conditions above 6.0. Do not allow live steam to be injected into the pad bath.
